Your options

There is more than one way to correct your vision

Which procedure fits depends on your prescription, your corneas, and your age — not on what we happen to advertise. Each one works on a different structure of the eye. Pick one to see where.

Where each vision correction procedure acts inside the eye A cross-section of the front of the eye: the cornea at the left, the iris behind it, and the natural lens behind that. LASIK reshapes the cornea and adds nothing to the eye. The EVO ICL is placed behind the iris and in front of the natural lens, leaving both intact. Refractive lens exchange and cataract surgery remove the natural lens and replace it with an implant. Cornea Natural lens Iris LASIK The cornea is reshaped — nothing enters the eye. EVO ICL Behind the iris — in front of your natural lens. Lens exchange The natural lens comes out — an implant takes its place. Anterior segment, schematic. Not to scale.

An excimer laser reshapes the surface of your cornea so light focuses correctly. Nothing is added to the eye, and nothing inside it is disturbed.

Only a full evaluation can confirm which procedure is right for your eyes. That evaluation is free at Price Vision Group.

One visit. A clear answer, either way.

What changes

Correction you stop thinking about

The point isn't the procedure. It's the years afterward, when your eyes are simply not something you plan around.

Detail, not just letters

Almost 80% of our CONTOURA® Vision LASIK patients see better than 20/20 — sharper than their glasses ever delivered.

A brief outpatient visit

Numbing drops keep you comfortable throughout. Most patients are in and out the same day and back to normal activity quickly.

One cost, not a recurring one

Frames, lenses, contacts, and solution never stop. Correction is a single investment, and financing spreads it out.

I highly recommend the Price Vision Group !!!!
The staff, nurses and Dr. Feng were outstanding !!
They explained my situation and what they could do, and not do, for me. My problems are complicated so I knew there was no way I would come out with perfect vision.

What waiting costs

Glasses and contacts are a subscription you never finish paying

It never feels like much at the register. Across a couple of decades, it is a different number.

$250–$500
Per year

Contacts and solution

Lenses, cases, and saline, reordered month after month, whether you still like wearing them or not.

$200–$400
Per year

Glasses and exams

A new pair every couple of years, coatings, and an annual exam to keep the prescription current.

$10,000+
Over 20 years

And it does not stop

What the average wearer spends across two decades — simply to keep seeing the way they already do.

Candidacy also changes with time. Corneas thin, lenses stiffen, and the range of procedures open to you narrows — which is why an earlier evaluation is almost always the better one.

Figures are typical national averages for corrective-lens wearers.

No reason to wait

What the cost and the visit actually look like

Financing, handled plainly

Pricing depends on the procedure your evaluation points to, so you get a written number at your consultation rather than a range in an ad.

  • Payment plans through CareCredit and other lenders
  • FSA and HSA funds accepted
  • LASIK enhancements in the first year are included in the price
  • $0 due at your consultation

A consultation, not a pitch

Your screening exists to determine one thing: which procedure your eyes are a candidate for. Sometimes the honest answer is none of them yet, and we will tell you that.

  • Full candidacy evaluation with diagnostic imaging
  • Every question answered by clinical staff, not sales staff
  • A recommendation grounded in your measurements
  • Leave informed — never committed

Common questions

The honest answers, first

Question not answered here? (317) 814-2933

Our team answers candidacy questions over the phone, before you book anything.

I was told I'm not a LASIK candidate. Do I have any options?

Very often, yes. Being outside the safe range for LASIK — because of a high prescription, thin corneas, or dry eye — does not rule out EVO ICL, PRK, or refractive lens exchange. Those procedures exist precisely for eyes LASIK cannot treat safely. A free consultation measures your eyes and tells you which, if any, applies to you.

How do I know which procedure is right for me?

Your prescription, corneal thickness and shape, lens condition, and age determine it — not preference. We map your eyes with advanced diagnostic imaging at your free consultation and explain which options are open to you and why the others are not.

Is it safe? What if something goes wrong?

Price Vision Group has performed vision correction in Indianapolis for more than 30 years, and Dr. Francis Price helped write the LASIK guidelines the American Academy of Ophthalmology publishes for the field. Every procedure carries risk, and your surgeon reviews the specific risks for your eyes before you decide anything. You will know exactly what to expect before you say yes.

Does it hurt?

Numbing drops are applied before the procedure, so you should not feel pain — most patients describe brief pressure. Some scratchiness or light sensitivity is normal for a short time afterward and is managed with the drops we provide.

How much does it cost, and can I finance it?

Cost depends on which procedure your evaluation points to, which is why we give you a written quote at your consultation rather than a headline price. Payment plans are available through CareCredit and other lenders, and FSA and HSA funds are accepted. The consultation itself is free.

Will I need this done again later?

LASIK and EVO ICL provide permanent correction of the prescription treated. Your eyes still age afterward — presbyopia and cataracts can develop later in life regardless of surgery. LASIK enhancements within the first year are included in the price, and refractive lens exchange is designed so the lens you receive is the one you keep.

What is recovery actually like?

Most patients return to normal activity quickly, and every procedure here is outpatient. Recovery differs by procedure, so your care team walks you through the specific timeline, restrictions, and follow-up schedule for yours before surgery day.

Why Price Vision Group instead of a larger chain?

Because the credentials are checkable. This practice performed the first PRK, first modern LASIK, first bladeless LASIK, and first CONTOURA® Vision procedures in Indiana, has trained more than 600 ophthalmologists from 35 countries, and has conducted more than 160 clinical studies. Same city, same team, for more than 30 years.

Zero cost. Zero obligation.
